We raise coffee to help raise children
One unique aspect of the Rancho Ebenezer children’s ranch is that we raise our own organic, mountain grown coffee. The ranch is very favorably located in a mountainous, tropical rain forest, which along with the ideal soil conditions, allows them to produce a very high quality, arabica coffee. Why coffee? We feel it is our responsibility to demonstrate to these children that as an organization we can contribute to the resources it takes to operate the children’s program and make the whole operation more self-sufficient. The coffee plantation is an ideal way to do that. This coffee is sold in the
U.S. as a means of generating funds to cover the monthly operating expenses, and can be shipped directly to the buyer. Grants from foundations and individuals are used to fund the capital investment needed to construct the facilities.
